Apple Celebrates Earth Day with Event w/ "Free Plastic" in Miami

On Earth Day, April 22, Apple will be hosting a free in-store event in Miami with Free Plastic, a nonprofit organization with a mission to remove plastic pollution from beaches, parks, pathways, waterways, and green spaces to create useable and sellable products that are hand-crafted locally in South Florida.
ArtLab: Free Plastic (April 22nd at 4:30pm, Apple Aventura): This event will feature a presentation on proper recycling practices and include a fun demonstration on transforming plastic trash into new material. Loose plastic letters will be available for arranging messages, and participants will have the opportunity to craft poetry on an iPad using the Notes app.
