Ann Storck Center Opens New School Year and Announces 2026–2027 Events
Ann Storck Center has launched the 2026–2027 academic year at All Heart Learning Academy and outlined several upcoming events that will offer education, community engagement and fundraising opportunities for families and supporters.
All Heart Learning Academy Begins New Academic Year
Students returned to All Heart Learning Academy on August 10, 2026, beginning a new year focused on academic progress, therapeutic support and the development of life skills.
The academy features small class sizes and specialized therapy designed to provide individualized instruction so students can learn at their own pace while building independence and confidence. More information about the school’s approach is available on the All Heart Academy site.
School Director Highlights Student-Centered Focus
Mary Lauderdale, Director of All Heart Learning Academy, emphasized that her work is driven by the students, noting that each day centers on supporting their learning, growth and well-being.
Lauderdale said she is looking forward to seeing the school’s new curriculum implemented by teachers and staff during the 2026–2027 year. She cited a past moment when a student used an augmentative and alternative communication device to write a personal message to her as an example of the relationships built in the program.
Upcoming Educational and Community Events
The Annual Arlene Lakin Educational Seminar is scheduled for September 15, 2026, and will connect families with educational resources and services across the disability community. Families can reserve a seat through Ann Storck Center.
