Ann Storck Center Hosted its Deck The Volleyballs Tournament on Dec. 21
On Saturday, Dec. 21, Ann Storck Center – a Fort Lauderdale-based private nonprofit organization dedicated to enriching the lives of children and adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities – hosted its Deck the Volleyballs Tournament on the sand in Pompano Beach.
The event raised $8,000 to support the Center’s mission: to discover ability and build independence so that individuals live happier, more independent, fulfilling lives. All proceeds went towards purchasing holiday gifts for the children and residents of Ann Storck Center.
The community event featured a fun-filled day of volleyball, a raffle, prizes, lunch and more for a good cause. Co-ed 4’s volleyball teams were invited to participate in the beach volleyball tournament in competitive or recreational divisions.
The Ann Storck Center, a nonprofit organization, is the heart of uncompromising care, supporting children and adults of all abilities with developmental, educational and residential programs that foster lives of discovery and fulfillment. The center is building a village of love and purpose, changing how those with intellectual and developmental disabilities are included as inspiring, valuable members of our communities.
