The evening of unforgettable entertainment continued with a roaming Rat Pack performer singing all the classics and a special musical performance by Ann Storck Center’s heARTS Music Therapy Department. While guests wined and dined, American Idol finalist Kayko rocked on the piano.

Supporters had the opportunity to “Bid for Kids” through donations while hearing special stories from Ann Storck Center families. To further support the Center’s mission, attendees participated in silent and live auctions featuring high-end items and exceptional luxury experiences.

The 29th Annual Celebrity Chefs Event was chaired by Roz Perlmutter and Susan Rennesein. Ann Storck Center presented Ray and Kim Slapikas with the Legacy Award and Tom West, vice president and chief information officer of Nova Southeastern University Florida, with the Community Leadership Award. Since its inception, Ann Storck Center’s Celebrity Chefs event has raised nearly $5.9 million dollars to support Ann Storck Center’s mission, which is throughout all its programs and services to discover ability and build independence so that individuals live happier, more independent, fulfilling lives.

“Organizing our 29th Annual Celebrity Chefs takes a whole lot of heart,” said Murphy. “From our dedicated staff and amazing families to our outstanding leadership, loyal partners, generous supporters and most of all the children and adults we serve every day, this incredible evening wouldn’t be possible without those who are dedicated to our mission.”
