The waterfront development will rise at the intersection of Edgewater, the Design District and Wynwood. Plans call for a 50 story tower reaching approximately 650 feet, with views over Biscayne Bay.

The project will include 100 private condominium residences, 120 resort residences that can be placed into a hotel program, and 50 hotel suites. The development is designed to combine private ownership with hospitality services and wellness programming.

Anantara is part of Minor Hotels, a global hospitality group with more than 600 properties across multiple regions. The brand operates more than 50 hotels and resorts worldwide and is known for its focus on cultural immersion and wellness.

The Miami property will introduce a concept centered on longevity and well being. Planned amenities include a vitality center focused on movement, nutrition and recovery, along with programming influenced by Thai healing traditions.

The project is being developed by One Thousand Group, a Miami-based firm known for projects including One Thousand Museum and Villa Miami. The company partnered with Anantara to bring the brand to the U.S. market.

One Thousand Group has also incorporated features aimed at privacy and connectivity, including a private rooftop helipad. The development expands on the firm’s approach to integrating design, amenities and lifestyle into a single residential offering.

Architecture will be led by Kohn Pedersen Fox in collaboration with ODP Architecture & Design. Interiors are being designed by Patricia Urquiola, marking her first residential project in the United States.

The building will be organized with hotel spaces on the lower floors and residential units above. Amenities will include dedicated spaces for both residents and hotel guests, along with shared wellness and lifestyle areas.
