Alexander McQueen reintroduces the Manta for the Spring/Summer 2026 pre-collection, drawing from the original De Manta silhouette first unveiled in the Spring/Summer 2010 Plato’s Atlantis runway show. The updated design emphasizes sculpted softness and angular folded edges, conceived with the rhythm of the city in mind.

The house’s subversive character comes through in textured finishes, including soft heritage ‘MacQueen’ wool tartan and black leather with studded silver eyelets. The bags can be styled with crochet character charms, crystal chains, and the signature McQueen Skull Scarf.

The line includes several variations:
The Manta OTT — A limited release of only 20 pieces worldwide. Fully accessorized with five bespoke charms and the McQueen Skull Scarf, it pairs a sculptural form with exclusive embellishments. Each piece arrives in bespoke packaging with a hand-illustrated card guiding owners on personalization.
The Manta Bag — Offered in smooth black or vivid red leather with silver hardware, as well as in ‘MacQueen’ tartan and black leather with metal eyelets.
The Manta Clutch — Available in smooth black or red leather with silver details, and in studded black leather.
The Manta Maxi — An oversized statement version in black leather.
The Manta Backpack — A streamlined black leather silhouette.
