Miami Beach has added another destination for contemporary art and collectible design with the opening of Italian artist Alex Turco's first U.S. gallery. Located at 1664 Lenox Avenue, the new space introduces visitors to ONLY ONE, a collection of handcrafted works presented during a recent VIP preview ahead of the gallery's public debut.

The gallery showcases wall pieces, sculptures, mirrors, and design objects grounded in natural materials. Turco works with volcanic stone, sea sponges, salt, calcified minerals, charred wood, and resin, giving each piece its own texture, character, and connection to the places from which the materials were sourced.

Born and based in Italy, Turco has spent years developing a style that combines contemporary design with natural textures. His work has been commissioned for luxury retail spaces, including Christian Dior boutiques in Shanghai and Louis Vuitton showrooms in Paris, as well as private residences around the world.

The Miami Beach gallery follows the opening of Turco's first dedicated gallery in Udine, Italy, and establishes a permanent U.S. home for his work. During the preview event, guests explored works that move between fine art, sculpture, and functional design.
“Each piece holds the memory of a place,” Turco said. “This collection is about transforming nature into art while preserving its essence. These works are not inspired by nature, they are nature, transformed.”

Throughout the gallery, visitors encounter textured surfaces, sculptural forms, and polished finishes that contrast raw organic elements with refined craftsmanship. The collection is aimed at both art collectors and those interested in contemporary interior design.

Miami's growing reputation as a center for art, architecture, and design made the city a natural choice for Turco's American debut. The gallery is expected to expand its programming later this year, with an official grand opening scheduled for October 1.
