Airbnb is adding another Miami experience to its FIFA World Cup 2026 lineup, giving fans the chance to train with Argentine football legend Javier Mascherano during the tournament.

The experience, titled Train with soccer legend Javier Mascherano, is scheduled for Sunday, June 28, from 9:00 to 11:00am in Liberty City. Guests can request to book starting June 1.
Mascherano, a former Barcelona and Liverpool midfielder, played in four FIFA World Cups for Argentina and captained the national team in 2010. He later coached Argentina’s youth national teams at the FIFA U-20 World Cup Argentina 2023 and the Paris 2024 Olympics.

The two-hour session is designed for players ages 18 and up and is open to all genders. Guests will take part in warmups, drills, tactical exercises, mini-games, and small-sided scrimmages. The experience also includes a cool-down, Q&A, and a team photo. The session will be hosted in English and Spanish, with the exact meeting location shared with booked guests before the experience.

The Mascherano session is part of Airbnb’s broader FIFA World Cup 2026 fan-experience program, which includes football-themed activities across host cities. In Miami, the lineup also includes playing a match on the FIFA World Cup 2026 game pitch at Miami Stadium, creating match day murals at Wynwood Walls, and matchday meetups.

Guests attending the Mascherano experience are required to bring proper identification, turf soccer cleats, shinguards, athletic training attire, a refillable water bottle, and any personal items needed for play. The activity level is moderate and the skill level is intermediate.
