Airbnb Hosts Partner With Community Greening for Tree Planting and Education Event in Boca Raton

Airbnb hosts from across South Florida will partner with Community Greening for a hands-on volunteer and educational event focused on tree planting and environmental stewardship in Boca Raton.
The event will take place Friday, January 16, from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. at the Community Greening Nursery. During the gathering, Airbnb will announce a $30,000 donation to Community Greening through the Airbnb Community Fund, supporting efforts to expand tree canopy coverage and environmental education in the region.
Local hosts will volunteer at the nursery, participate in tree planting activities, and receive guidance on how to plant and maintain trees at their Airbnb properties. Each participating host will take a tree home to plant, reinforcing long-term environmental impact beyond the event itself.
Community Greening staff and Airbnb South Florida Host Club Community Leader Dolly Duran will be present to lead the activities and discuss the role of sustainability in responsible hosting.
