Ahmed Abbas of ALINA Residences Named FirstService Residential’s "Rookie of the Year"

Ahmed Abbas, assistant property manager at ALINA Residences Boca Raton, has been honored with the Rookie of the Year award by FirstService Residential, recognizing his leadership, professionalism and commitment to resident service.
FirstService Residential, a leading property management company with a significant presence in South Florida, presents the award each year to team members who demonstrate exceptional performance, dedication and meaningful contributions to their communities.
Abbas joined ALINA Residences in November 2024 and quickly made a substantial impact. Originally hired for an administrative role, his strong work ethic and operational insight led to a swift promotion to assistant property manager. As assistant property manager, Abbas supports the community’s daily operations, oversees resident service, coordinates with contractors and vendors, and helps maintain building standards and overall team performance. He played a significant role in the opening of ALINA 220, coordinating daily with contractors, managing unit closings and supporting residents during one of the community’s busiest transition periods.
