Adopt a Tree at Kaseya Center

On June 28^th, 2025, The Miami HEAT partnered with Miami-Dade County Regulatory and Economic Resources Division of Environmental Resources Management (RER-DERM) to host their first ever Adopt-a-Tree event at the Kaseya Center.

About 2,418 trees were adopted that day from the selection provided:

• Barbados Cherry

• Black Ironwood

• Florida Fiddlewood

• Grafted Mango

• Mamey

• Simpson’s Stopper

• Soursop

• Sugar Apple

The Adopt-a-Tree program provides Miami-Dade County single-family and duplex homeowners with up to two free trees every year. Since the program’s inception in 2001, more than 250,000 trees have been distributed throughout Miami-Dade County.
