Acqua di Parma Expands Signatures of the Sun Collection with New Oud Ambrosia

Acqua di Parma will expand its Signatures of the Sun collection with Oud Ambrosia, a new extrait de parfum available beginning Sept. 1, 2026. Formulated with a 30% concentration of pure perfume oils, the fragrance delivers greater depth, longevity and intensity. Inspired by ambrosia, the mythical elixir of the gods in ancient Greek mythology, Oud Ambrosia explores the contrast between light and shadow through one of perfumery's most prized ingredients: oud.
Created by perfumer Violaine Colas, Oud Ambrosia draws inspiration from Sicily, particularly Palermo, blending Mediterranean citrus with the richness of oud. The fragrance opens with Italian blood orange, Sicilian papaya accord and clementine before evolving through passion fruit, saffron accord and violet leaf into a deep woody base inspired by the island's centuries of cultural exchange.
Its defining ingredient is Oud Butter, a rare interpretation of Laotian agarwood produced by distilling both the resin and wood of the Aquilaria tree. This process creates a smoother profile with woody, smoky and leathery notes accented by honey, amber and tobacco, adding richness and lasting performance.
Oud Ambrosia joins Gelsomino a Freddo Ambrosia and Zafferano Ambrosia in Acqua di Parma's Ambrosia collection. The 50ml extrait de parfum is presented in a transparent glass bottle with a decorated porcelain cap and the Maison's signature yellow hatbox.
