AB Yachts, a brand of Next Yacht Group, has announced the launch of the first unit of the AB 95S at its Viareggio shipyard. The "Sport" version of the AB 95 was designed to enhance the brand’s high-performance DNA, reaching a top speed of 53 knots.

The sale to an American owner was handled by Simon Graham of the brokerage house FGI Yacht Group. The AB 95S features a sleeker aesthetic than its predecessor, characterized by flowing lines, a wraparound windshield, and an aerodynamic opening roof integrated into the superstructure.
The main deck is an open, continuous space featuring large glass surfaces and a high-tech helm station developed in collaboration with Fincantieri. Aft, a beach area accommodates a tender of over four meters, a jet ski, and multiple water toys. Below deck, the yacht uses insulated panels, leather, and suede to minimize noise levels. The lower deck can accommodate up to eight guests, including a full-beam owner’s suite.
Equipped with three MAN V12X-2200 engines totaling 6,600 horsepower, the AB 95S utilizes a composite hull and deck with extensive carbon fiber to maintain a displacement of approximately 93 tonnes. The propulsion system features two MJP steerable waterjets and one central booster, supported by a Seakeeper 26 stabilization system.

Following its launch, the yacht has begun sea trials in Viareggio and is scheduled for delivery to its owner in April.
