A Night of Luxury: Dominican Republic Unveils New Tourism Campaign at Exclusive Gala
The Dominican Republic Ministry of Tourism hosted an exclusive gala at Vizcaya Museum & Gardens, which was attended by latin celebrities and global company executives, to unveil its new marketing campaign to promote the country’s luxury destinations.
Grammy Award-winning Dominican singer-songwriter Juan Luis Guerra closed out the event, hosted by Minister of Tourism David Collado, with an unforgettable performance for the gala’s attendees, which was attended by notable figures like Shannon de Lima, Lele Pons, Gaby Espino and Elizabeth Gutierrez.
During the event, the minister presented the Dominican Republic as an idyllic Caribbean destination for luxury tourism and unveiled new conceptual identities promoting the country’s luxury destinations, including Miches, Samaná and Costa del Ámbar, among others.
“The Dominican Republic is experiencing a moment of solid economic growth, and we are ready to welcome investors looking for a vibrant destination with exceptional opportunities,” said Collado. “This is the best time to invest in our country and take advantage of the dynamism of our tourism industry.”
Four Seasons is one of the latest luxury brands to announce it is entering the Dominican Republic market: Four Seasons Resort and Residences at Tropicalia, nestled on a 60-acre beachfront property along Playa Esmeralda, is slated to open in 2026.
During a speech at the gala, Alejandro Reynal, president and CEO of Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts, underscored the importance of the brand’s strategic investment in the Caribbean country, stating, “The Dominican Republic has all the elements of a luxury destination and is perfect for a brand like Four Seasons.”
This launch represents a crucial step in the Dominican Republic’s strategy to solidify itself as a luxury destination in the Caribbean, attracting high-end clientele and strengthening its position in the competitive international tourism market.
