Superblue Miami will debut Blue Sea Sky, a new immersive light installation by renowned Light and Space artist James Turrell, on September 2, 2026. The work replaces AKHU, the ganzfeld installation that has been on view since Superblue opened in 2021. Blue Sea Sky immerses visitors in fields of shifting color, creating the sensation of entering a limitless, luminous space and exploring the boundaries of human perception.

Inspired by Turrell’s fascination with light, color, and the horizon, Blue Sea Sky draws a natural connection to Miami’s coastal landscape. The installation will be on view for a limited time at Superblue Miami, 1101 NW 23rd St. Complimentary on-site reservations are required and availability is limited.
