Keep your submission between 400-1600 words and include at least one medium to high-resolution image. We seek positive, well-researched, locally focused, and relevant stories. Avoid misinformation or defamatory content.

To ensure a diverse range of content on our website, we limit press releases to a maximum of 2 per month. This includes content that infringes upon or violates copyrights, trademarks, or other intellectual property rights; content that is libelous or defamatory; content that is obscene, pornographic, sexually explicit, or vulgar; content that violates a person’s right to privacy; content that violates any local, state, national, or international law; content that advocates illegal or violent acts; content that degrades others on the basis of gender, race, class, ethnicity, national origin, religion, sexual orientation, disability, or other classification; content that is predatory, hateful, or intended to intimidate or harass; content that contains derogatory name-calling; content that is a duplicate or repost of something already posted on the site; content that contains advertising or solicitation; content that misrepresents your identity or affiliation; or content that is in poor taste or objectionable.

2. You are fully responsible for the content you submit. If you discover that your content violates these rules or is otherwise inappropriate, you will promptly remove it. You will indemnify Miami Living Magazine, its affiliates, and their subsidiaries, directors, officers, managers, employees, shareholders, agents, and licensors from any claim brought by a third party relating to content you have posted.

3. We are not responsible for user-submitted content. We may monitor submissions and remove content that we deem inappropriate without consent. We may also remove a user’s privilege to post content on our site. We may reject or remove any comment at any time without notice to you.

4. You certify that you are at least 13 years old. If you are under 18 but at least 13 years old, you may submit content only with the permission and supervision of a parent or legal guardian. If you are a parent or legal guardian agreeing to these rules on behalf of an individual between the ages of 13 and 18, you are fully responsible for their submissions and any legal liability they may incur.

5. You certify that you have permission from others who have contributed to or are featured in any content you submit. If any individuals under 18 appear in your content, you must obtain permission from each such individual’s parent or legal guardian prior to submitting the content.

6. You acknowledge that any use or reliance on information obtained through the interactive forums is at your own risk. We do not endorse the content of the interactive forums and cannot vouch for its reliability.

7. You grant us permission to use the content you submit. You grant Miami Living a royalty-free, irrevocable, perpetual, worldwide, exclusive, and fully sub-licensable license to use, reproduce, modify, adapt, publish, translate, create derivative works from, incorporate into other works, distribute, perform, display, and otherwise exploit such content in any form, media, or technology now known or later developed. With respect to any photos submitted, unless credited to the original source/photographer, Miami Living Magazine rights shall be non-exclusive, instead of exclusive.
